Camping facilities available direclty with Khomeesdrif Camping Site, and must be booked with them.

Sites: 1 x (≤4 people) R130/person/night extra for two extra people/site

Cost: R460.00/night

Extra: Dogs: R20.00/dog/night

A deposit of 50% will secure your booking, balance payable in cash at arrival or via EFT before arrival.

All entries include a goody bag containing a competition printed drawstring bag, T-Shirt with competition design, blue silicone competition bracelet, free Boerewors roll ticket, 3 x different fishing lures and the Rules and regulations. These to be collected at sign-in on the day of the competition. Please note that you accept the rules and conditions by clicking submit at the bottom of the entry form.
Adult Entry Fee : R285.00 per person, Guests entry fee to campsite : R50.00 p/p children under 6 years of age free.

Junior Entry Fee : R185.00 per person (up to 18 years old), Guest entry fee to campsite : R50.00 p/p children under 6 years of age free.

Competion Rules

-Only artificial lures, earth worms, chicken livers and carp baits to be used and a maximum of 2 rods per angular.
-All participants must have a valid fresh water fishing licence and will be checked at the sign in counter.
-Only live fish to be weighed at designated weigh point. All fish to be released immediately after weighing. NO FISH TO BE REMOVED FROM VENUE (Catch and release only!). The weighmasters decision is final.
-Blue competition bracelets must be worn by all anglers to avoid disqualification. 
-Fishing will be from shore, canoes and kayaks as specified on the Rivier. The venue is kindly sponsored by private landowners for this day ONLY. Please respect their property & privacy. No littering and be careful of irrigation pipes and equipment within the campsite.
-Respect & be considerate of your fellow anglers.
-Each angler is to be acquainted with and adhere to the rules of the competition and the venue. Failure of the above will result in immediate disqualification.

PRIZE CATEGORIES:
Only ONE 1st Adult & Junior prize per angler in each category
Category 1: Black or largemouth bass
Category 2: Common carp.
Category 3: Barbal.
Category 4: Biggest fish of the competition.
-In the event of a tie, there will be a draw between parties. 
– In the event of no fish caught at a Rivier, the prize goes into the lucky draw. For the lucky draw, you need to hand in your ID tag.

All information supplied and photographs taken will be handled as per the BASS AND BOAT BOYZ policy. 
Declaration I, the undersigned do hereby agree that I nor any of the entrants on this form, will not hold BASS AND BOAT BOYZ or KHOMEESDRIF CAMPING SITE, and the landowners of the properties being utilized in the hosting of this competition, responsible for any loss or damage as a result of substitution, alteration, postponement, or cancellation of the SONDER RIVIER FRESH WATER CLASSIC 2026 Competition. These parties shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event of a cancellation for any reason, including but not limited To: a fortuitous event, an act of God, or any other event that renders performance of the SONDER RIVIER FRESH WATER CLASSIC 2026 Competition impracticable or impossible. For the purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: Fire, war, labour strike, state of national disaster, civil unrest, weather conditions or Other emergency.
